A Room of My Own

My younger sister and I had shared a room for fifteen years, so when our older sister married we each got a room of our own for the first time.  The Laura Ashley wallpaper 'Melrose', had been stored away under my bed for seven years as my younger sister and I have quite a different taste in decoration.  Over the years the furniture (mostly from local antique shops or bargains on E Bay) and ornaments I have either collected, received as presents or had passed down to me; as with the beautiful cast iron and brass bed which was my older sisters.
